Father’s day coming up! At least here in Sweden! Otherwise, this post also works great if you are looking for a personal Christmas gift for your dad. Is it just me that’s always struggling with finding that perfect and personal gift? But you can never go wrong when DIY:ing. It’s always so appreciated and with a little splash of creativity you can actually make a really nice one, that looks like you bought them in the store.
Anyway, here we go, five DIY gifts for father’s day:
- For the wine lover- DIY concrete coaster
This one is suuupereasy to make, the only hard part is getting the supplies. Which is pretty easy, huh? And remember, depending on the concrete you use, it’ll take longer or shorter for it to dry. So make sure you have time for it to dry!
2. For the food lover- Easy bruschetta with mozzarella
This is my favorite bruschetta. THEY. ARE. SO. GOOD. No joke! They are the best. And takes no time! If you make these, and serve something good to drink, I promise you it’ll be a jackpot.
3. For the traveler- DIY Packing cubes
I always use mine when traveling somewhere. They make the whole packing situation much better and makes your suitcase organized. So if your dad travels a lot, I promise you he’ll love these!
4. For the breakfast lover- My favorite scones
Spoiling someone with a great breakfast is always a good idea! And scones with cheese and marmelade, with a great cup of coffee, is surely a perfect gift for your father!
5. For the nostalgia lover- DIY scrapbook minialbum
How personal isn’t this? Getting a homemade mini scrapbook album is probably something he will remember and keep forever. You can always make it with a theme, for example “our trip to…”, or “why you make me smile”.2
