I’ve told you before about my love for breakfast. I could eat it for lunch and dinner as well, haha. And one of my favorite breakfasts is yoghurt with granola. This morning, I made my own, and not only does it taste good, the whole kitchen smells like I’ve been in the kitchen all day. I really recommend you to try this easy homemade granola recipe, since it is sooo easy.
EASY HOMEMADE GRANOLA RECIPE
Ingridents (about 20 servings)
- 3 cups raw, whole rolled oats (7 dl)
- 1 cup sunflower seeds (2 dl)
- 0,5 cup linseed (1 dl)
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts (2 dl)
- 0,5 cup pumpkin seeds (1 dl)
- Chia seeds (optional)
- 1 cup water (2 dl)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons cardamom
- 0,5 cup brown sugar (1 dl)
- 0,5 cup dark syrup (1 dl)
- 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
- 1 tablespoons honey
- 1 large pinch sea salt
This is how you do it
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350º F (175º C)
Step 2. Mix the oats, seeds and nuts together.
Step 3. Put the water, cinnamon, cardamom, sugar, syrup, coconut oil, honey and salt on the stove and warm it up. Just so everything blends together, don’t boil it.
Step 4. Add the warm mixture to the dry ingredients and mix it.
Step 5. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes, but stir at least three times meanwhile. It easily burns..
Step 5. Remove it from the oven, and it’s done! If you want you can add dried fruit.
Don’t you get hungry just by looking at these pictures? Haha. I do! Will probably go for a second breakfast today. And you can find more of my recipes here. And I also post all my recipes in my Instagram story if you want to see when I make it.
Wish you a great weekend!1
